Four Days Of Film

02/12/2011 – 05/12/2012

Reflecting on and celebrating the pleasure of Film over four days of events at Mexico.
The question is: how can we host a platform to explore the ceremony of Filmmaking and viewing? At its heart the long weekend features the ’48 Hour Film Challenge’ A fast paced filmmaking challenge open to the public and facilitated by Chloe Plumb and Ned Pattern.

Archivist and university lecturer Leo Enticknap screened the UFA film La Habanera (1937) and delivered a talk on German cinema between 1935 and 1939, exploring the fundamental role film played as a form of covert Nazi propaganda.

Other events include: critical discussions, themed talks and film screenings as well an evening of merriment with movie themed DJ sets and Schnapps to warm the cool winter nights.
